Imagine...the finale. Happy Birthday, John

‎"Imagine there's no Heaven. It's easy if you try. No Hell below us. Above us only sky. Imagine all the people living for today...Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do...nothing to kill or die for...no religion too...Imagine all the people living live in PEACE.You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one. Imagine no possessions...I wonder if you can...no need for greed or hunger....a brotherhood of man...Imagine all the people sharing all the world" RIP John Lennon, who would've turned 70 on October 9, 2010. Your spirit will never die, it lives on in us--the dreamers, the peacemakers, and those who believe there is a way for all of us to truly live in a brotherhood of man...

Prayer for Peace

Lord, Make me an instrument of Your Peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where is there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may seek
not so much to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be
loved as to love; for it is in giving that we
receive; it is in pardoning that we are
pardoned, and it is in dying that we are
born to Eternal Life. Amen

St Francis of Assisi
(1181-1226)
